CC for education

cclearn Yesterday, Creative Commons launched its division devoted to education.

ccLearn is a division of Creative Commons which is dedicated to realizing the full potential of the Internet to support open learning and open educational resources (OER). Our mission is to minimize barriers to sharing and reuse of educational materials — legal barriers, technical barriers, and social barriers.

As a member of the international community started in 2004 by Susan D’Antoni, on behalf of The Virtual University of Unesco, we are working around this topic you can find more about the group and its activity, in this wiki.

Let’s hope that Creative Commons get in their mission to connect all the different OER repositories in the world, but above all let’s work for making possible different educational models.

Thanks to the The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation for supporting this initiative.[:]
