Chiudi-libri ora non me ne vengono in mente (è per fortuna perche’ il loro potere e’ nefasto), ma ho appena finito un apri-libri: “Leggere Lolita a Teheran”

In una Teheran bombardata, alcune studentesse e la loro insegnante, nel nome della letteratura occidentale si ricreano uno spazio di libertà “mentale”, circoscritto in un salotto, per sopportare la doppia oppressione in quanto persone e donne. Quegli incontri settimanali danno corpo e sostanza alle eroine dei romanzi ma anche alle giovani, che posso uscire dai loro mantelli e riacquistare anch’esse fisicità.

Impossibilre resistere quindi all’invito a leggere o rileggere Lolita, il Grande Gatsby, Orgoglio e pregiudizio, Daisy Miller…
