Puntopanto is a playful take on my email address (eleonora dot panto @ something dot it), and it represents a space for reflection—a place to organize ideas, projects, and new inspirations.
CV in short
From 2022 to 2024, I collaborated with Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, managing Erasmus projects on preschool education, STEM, digital skills, and open educational resources (OER). I also developed a proposal on STEM education for lower secondary schools, focusing on the biographies of women in science.
From 2019 to 2021, I served on the staff of the Education and School Construction Councillor for the City of Turin, overseeing initiatives in educational services, such as catering, school transport for students with disabilities, school inclusion, vaccinations, book vouchers, online enrollment, and student guidance. I was also involved in various communication aspects.
From 2000 to 2023, I worked on educational and technological innovation at CSP, focusing on learning through media, video games, and MOOCs. I led multiple European projects on e-learning, media, diversity, inclusion, cyberbullying, Industry 4.0, data interoperability, and marine knowledge, often acting as a community and social media manager.
I managed the training IT department at ENGIM Piemonte (vocational education) and worked as professional as webmaster.
My experience in IT dates back to 1981, during which I developed the first websites for the Piedmont public administration at CSI Piemonte
Associations & Pro Bono Activities
I have been studying the impact of the internet on education since 1996, authoring several books. In 2004, I helped found the DSchola Association, a school network that supports other schools, where I have been director and event and fundraising manager since 2008.
I also contributed to the founding of the Media and Learning Association, which organizes the European Medea Awards, serving as the first president and now as honorary member and judge.
in 2008, I supported the launch of the Italian section of Global Voices Online an international citizen journalism initiative, and helped organize the first Italian event on citizen media.
I am the Piedmont representative of the Rosa Digitale network
I contributed to the launch of the Open Education Italia
In my free time, I enjoy swimming, reading, cooking, and watching movies.
